Tropicare acquires German health travel specialist Medidar GMBH

Tropicare, travel health leader in the Benelux, takes over the German travel and health specialist Medidar GmbH. As of December 1st 2011 Medidar resorts under under the management of Klaus Medidar Henrici, Country Manager for Tropicare in Germany. Together with his team, he will run the company from the industrial heritage Böhler-Areal in Dusseldorf.

Tropicare, supplier of the Care Plus ® products for carefree travel since 1992, acquired the German specialist for travel health today, Medidar GmbH. Medidar GmbH was founded by late 80’s by tropical doctors to improve the health of travellers. The goal was to provide travellers with information about the health risks in exotic and remote countries. Over the years, Medidar has developed into a supplier of travel health protection products for travellers.
