Tick Test
Finally you can test it yourself after a tick bite! This self-diagnosis tick test creates the opportunity to test if the tick bite contains the Borreliose bacteria. This bacteria causes the serious infectious Lyme disease, which is vastly becoming one of the major problems in Europe.
If the test is positive, one can show it to one’s doctor so he can prescribe the correct treatment with antibiotics. The advantage of this test is that one can check whether treatment is required immediately after the bite. Up to now, one would have to wait until the red ring (Erythema migrans) appears before starting (longer) treatment. In fact, this is too late because the infection is already chronic.
