DEET Protects the user for several hours against mosquitoes, ticks and other biting insects. Apply the agent at most once a day. The agent may not be applied at the same time to the clothes and to the skin which is covered by these clothes.
Apply the agent sparingly and carefully to uncovered body parts; spread the agent uniformly over the skin. Do not apply the agent to the eyes, lips or damaged skin (wounds). Also do not apply to places where, due to the bending of joints, multiple bending of the skin is normal; therefore do not apply to the hollow of the knee or the hollow of the elbow. Apply the agent carefully to the outside of the clothes at the wrists, ankles, shoulders and trouser pockets; spray twice (200 ml bottle) or three times (60ml, 100ml bottle) onto a surface of 10x10 cm. Store used clothes in a closed plastic bag before washing them.
Note: Avoid contact with plastics (e.g. eyeglass frames), synthetic/leather clothes and painted surfaces. Not recommended for use with children younger than six years of age.
